Western Park Festival

Festivals are a good excuse to bring people, music and catering together in the great outdoors. Leicester has a long history of music and with the lapse of the Abbey Park and Summer Sundae festivals, we wanted the young and not so young to know the magic of live entertainment. In summer 2012, the debut Western Park Festival brought together a large number of local musicians and bands and now has a full complement of fair rides, stalls, bars and caterers.

Leicester Caribbean Carnival

Zander Events were the Event Management team for the successful delivery of the 2025, Leicester Caribbean Carnival. This was particularly special as it was the carnival’s 40th birthday.
Zander Events fully managed this event, working closely with the Carnival Committee, including the Event Management Plan for the 2 mile long procession through the Leicester City Centre and the full management of the ticket only event at Victoria Park, where there was an estimated number of circa, 12,000 people throughout the day.
The event had 4 stages of music and over 30 stalls selling caribbean food, gifts and craft items.
Numerous multi-agency meetings were had to adhere to HSE requirements, medical, security, traffic management, waste management and emergency services requirements. 

Pop-Up Pubs

On the final Friday of the month, we have a residency in The Hall at St Anne’s in Western Park where we hire the venue, run the bar and host a changing array of caterers to meet the needs of a sociable Leicester suburb.

Wonderland

With a lineage dating back to 1896, we were delighted to create the Wonderland celebration for Samworth Brothers. We put on the Christmas sparkle for 600 plus people in Leicester and loved every minute of it. During a day of festivities, we had Santa’s grotto, cheeky elves, Snow White and the Seven Dwarves dancers, face painters, party characters, zorbs, dance schools, four different food caterers, table activities, and much, much more.

Music nights at Leicester Cathedral

The cathedral has been part of Leicester for almost a millennium. Zander Events has been honoured to provide professional refreshments at this acoustically-divine venue and its choice selection of live events.

Leicestershire Law Society

We have been delighted to be involved with some of the social events for the Leicestershire Law Society. At the LLS 25 year celebration, Zander Events were asked to provide a fun casino for their Las Vegas themed awards ceremony. A fun evening was had by all and the casino also helped the Leicestershire Law Society raise money for their chosen charity LAMP.
